About Sushmita Veloor, MD

Dr. Sushmita Veloor is Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation Services for The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus. She has certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and American Board of Lifestyle medicine.

Her special interests are spinal cord injury, stroke care, spasticity management, EMG and Lifestyle Medicine. She helps manage and evaluate patients for intrathecal baclofen therapy, Botox injections for management of Spasticity and Cervical dystonia. She focuses her patient care around education and lifestyle changes to prevent or treat chronic disease.
