Dr. Michael Gaume is a board-certified pain management specialist, with a combined 20 years of level one tertiary care center experience in anesthesia and pain management. He is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain.

Dr. Gaume is proficient in a spectrum of advanced pain management techniques, including but not limited to:
• Ultrasound guided nerve blocks
• Catheter guided cervical epidural injections
• Spinal cord stimulation

He received his medical education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he also completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology. Seeking to specialize in pain management, he pursued advanced training at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University.
